Subjects offered:

English at either GCSE or Functional skills
Science Entry level or GCSE Biology/Physics
PSHCE/Life Skills BTEC
Finance BTEC
RE GCSE
Art/Photography GCSE

Work Experience as appropriate
Humanities (Please discuss with us as this varies dependent on capacity and the interests
of pupils)
Careers advice and guidance is offered by our in-house Careers advisor. We will also offer
support for transition in year 13 to either a Supported Internship or other post-16
providers. We would be encouraging all students to move into one of these other options
after year 12. In year 13 pupils will access supported internships facilitated by the school.
The Provision:
6th form is based in our nurture pathway base within the main school building in Crewe.
The 6th form will have their core, academic subjects taught in small groups. We expect
most pupils to attend Careers lessons and attempt work experience.
The subjects offered are described above. We expect all pupils to attend a full time offer,
there is no part time option for post-16. Pupils will attend 9am -3pm Monday -Friday. We
would expect anyone attending to still need to complete Maths and English. If these
subjects have already been achieved at level 4 GCSE grade, we would look at other
options such as Finance or English Literature GCSE to enhance the Maths and English
offer.
