In Art and Photography pupils took part in CSI Adelaide with Mrs Compton. The aim of the event was to show the links from Art and Photography into careers within and supporting the Police Force. We also wanted pupils to use a wide range of skills within the tasks.
PC Martin Shore came into school and spoke to two classes about his career path and then looked at the creative career paths available within the Police Force.
Pupils were called out to a crime scene and they had to use their photography skills to take pictures of vital evidence to help to solve the crime. Pupils were greeted by an array of evidence including snagged clothing, dropped shopping, a broken window, footprints, handprints and of course a victim.
Pupils worked together showing teamwork skills and had to use creativity, problem solving skills and speaking and listening to deduce what had happened and why.
