Careers Enrichment Programme

Cheshire and Warrington Pledge working with Youth Fed offered Adelaide pupils the chance to take part in an eight week enrichment programme. The aim was to engage pupils in enrichment activities coupled with encounters with businesses and employers. Pupils were given the chance to take part in a fantastic range of activities, developing their Skillsbuilder skills each week.  Here are just a few of the activities:

  

We explored how digital technology is being used in agriculture at Reaseheath College It was  amazing to see how the skill requirements of the next generation of employees is evolving across all industries.

 

We visited a construction site to see the work that Triton Construction do. We looked at the skills needed to work within this industry. 

  

We visited Cheshire College South and West for a tour with an extra focus on some of their new digital kit and how digital skills and employer engagement are embedded in their curriculum.

  

We visited Crewe Alexandra Football Club for an inspiring snapshot into the expansive career opportunities within the sports industry.

 

We visited a boxing gym and developed team skills by playing rugby at Crewe Vagrants Rugby Club.
