GSO Test

'To help young people help themselves'

As a school we actively support lifelong learning. We show pupils that learning does not stop when you leave school or college and that throughout life you will need to keep learning new skills.
Many staff in school study to learn new skills and gain qualifications whilst working. Staff and parents were offered the opportunity to complete courses through the Skills Network.
They studied for a range of qualifications including Self Harm and Suicide Prevention, Equality and Diversity, Principles of Team Leading and Event Management.
"I really enjoyed doing the Level 2 in self-harm and suicide prevention, I learnt a lot from this course and really enjoyed getting the best knowledge i can about this subject. The main thing I have taken from the course  will be that I wasn't aware that there were so many different ways to self-harm and all the different campaigns that there are available for people to use. I thoroughly enjoyed this course and have decided to do another Level 2 course soon.
