#WeAreConstruction – Course and Careers Open Event

With the construction industry on the up there has never been a better time to provide opportunities to the younger generation by offering an Apprenticeship or T Level placement. This event will give you the chance to share your views on how we should shape our curriculum offer and training courses moving forward.

On Thursday 25 May our Construction department are hosting a two-part course and careers event for anyone interested in finding out more about the industry. The event will be held in our brand new T Level facility, home to specialist innovative equipment that will develop our learners' digital skills in construction.

Employers in the sector are invited from 5:30pm to join a construction industry networking event and discussion group.

From 7:00pm student applicants are invited to join the event to meet our tutors and employer partners and tour the facilities.

Part 1 – Employer agenda:

5.30pm – Drinks and hot dogs on arrival

6.00pm – Welcome and agenda

6.05pm – Topic: Skills gap

6.20pm – Breakout session: Bridging the skills gap

6.40pm – CITB: Latest grants available

6.50pm – Break
